Dipti Vartak is part of the executive leadership team as a Core Member of VKnow Patent Services and currently she acts in the capacity of the Co-Founder (Head – Patent Prosecution & Strategy) with more than 12 years of IP experience, as on January 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from Mumbai University, Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Management from the Manipal University, Karnataka, and LL.B. Degree from Mumbai University. She is a registered Patent Agent with Indian Patent Office.

Dipti is driving to build the trusted relation with all clients by lending her expertise in various IP matter such as new product identification, product evaluation, competitive intelligence in NCE & generic markets, product selection based on patent status and in litigation matter such as Paragraph IV opportunities in US, suitable product launch time, pre-grant and post-grant opposition, patent drafting, patent prosecution and eDiscovery. Since the inception of the firm, she has been nurturing all the trainees and newcomers of the firm with her IP expertise and thereby augmenting the success of the firm with the help of all her associates.

Dipti also played the pivotal role in establishing the firm from having 4 clients during inception to currently serving more than 50+ clients in the short span of 5 years on a case by case or retainership model. She has been continuously spearheading the firm’s team expansion and fostering them by providing strategic guidance and IP competence. She is also actively involved in other inter-team building and recreational activities.

Dipti was previously associated with Ajanta Pharma Limited for almost six years in the IP department and prior to joining Ajanta Pharma, Dipti was also associated with SciVista IP & Communications, where she held positions to provide the IP inputs to in-house team. A seasoned IP professional with good knowledge of national and international laws of IP, Dipti along with the other core members of the firm manages the routine IP activities.
